About Anttimo

Bio

The Reverend Anttimo D. Bennett, Sr., is from Seattle, Washington. He is the only child of Anthony Bennett and Alanna James. He has four children: Caedyn, Elijah, Anttimo Jr., and Ahsan.

Reverend Bennett completed his primary and secondary education in the public schools of Martin Luther King County, Washington. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Welfare and a Bachelor of Arts in American Ethnic Studies, with a concentration in African American Studies and a minor in Diversity, from the University of Washington. Additionally, Reverend Bennett earned his Master’s in Public Administration from Seattle University. He also received his Master’s in Divinity from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology. Currently, Reverend Bennett is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Transformational Leadership at the Boston University School of Theology.

Reverend Bennett serves as an Associate Minister at the House of Hope Fellowship in Tukwila, WA, a position he has held since the church's founding in June 2022. He previously spent six years as Youth Pastor at Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Baptist Church in Renton, WA, where he was ordained in 2018. He also served for three years as an Associate Minister at Greater Mt. Baker Missionary Baptist Church in Seattle, making for a total of twelve years in ministry.

Outside his church roles, he works as a Caseworker for the King County Department of Adult and Juvenile Detention in the Community Corrections Division. He is also a reserve Chaplain in the United States Air Force, stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, endorsed by the American Baptist Churches, USA. Reverend Bennett is a proud life member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and currently serves as Vice Polemarch of the Seattle Alumni Chapter.

Reverend Bennett is a minister, mentor, and motivational speaker. When God grants him the opportunity, he occasionally preaches. He loves God and people, and his friendly, cheerful nature clearly reflects this. And of course, he enjoys a great cigar from time to time!
